Foot Zone therapy has ancient roots, with evidence suggesting its use in various cultures throughout history. The Incas in Latin America are believed to have used reflexology as early as 12000 BC. As early as 5000 BC, medical writing from Asia documented the positive effects of pressure point techniques.

In 1979 Ed and Ellen Case discovered papyrus scrolls stored in Egyptian physicians' and dentists' tombs dating back to 2500 BC with hieroglyphs depicting people receiving foot massages. This knowledge is believed to have been passed down through generations and continues to be practiced today.
